Rent A Car General Terms of Use

1.1 valid driver's license and control card (or deed, the final term of which does not expire prior to the date of return of the car), with minimum 2 (two) years experience;
1.2 Valid identity document - ID card or international passport;
1.3 Full 21 years of age;
1.4 At the time of execution of the rent contract, the client is required to present originals and copies of his driver's license and ID card or international passport (the copies of the documents may be sent in advance).
1.5 Reservations can be accepted for a specified class of car, but not make, model, color, etc. The EASY-BG-RENT A CAR company retains its right in case of confirmed reservation to provide to you a similar or higher class car at the same rent terms.

2.1 The minimum rent period is 1 day (24 hours);
2.2 The maximum rent period is 1 (one) month;
2.3 In case of advance return (prior to the expiry of the contract) of the rented car by the Client, EASY-BG RENT A CAR shall not be liable for the value of the rent for the remaining duration of the contract. Exceptions shall be made in cases of contracts executed for more than seven days, when the service shall be invoiced according to the tariff for the smaller number of days, and the Service Provider shall retain 30% (thirty percent) of the difference between the two limit values (the price according to the contract and the newly calculated price).
During the high season (from 01.07 till 15.09), no reimbursement of any amounts due to unused rent days is foreseen.

3.1 In case you wish to extend the rent period, you must inform the rent-a-car company not less than 48 (forty eight hours) and check the possibility to extend the rent period and the terms of payment.
3.2 Penalties for failure to return the car to the rent-a-car company in due time:

3.3 In case a client loses any documents and/or keys, panels, registration plates, parking lots access card, he shall be liable to pay all the costs for their restoration and lost profits for the time, during which the car shall not be used.

4.1 All quoted prices are in EUR and include VAT.
4.2 The prices are quoted for a 24-hours rent period (calculated as 24 hours from the time of renting the car).
4.3 The payments are to be made:

4.3.1 in cash at the time of renting (delivery) of the car.
4.3.2 by bank transfer - in advance to the bank account, specified by the rent-a-car company. *Bank fees and commissions are at the expense of the client.
4.3.3 by credit card - in advance by means of an approved form or a POS terminal device (only for prior application for a location, which is not at our office).
*The deduction of a bank charge is possible, depending on the issuing bank.

4.4 The deposit must be paid at the time of execution of the contract with a credit card or in cash. Cash payment is available only for Bulgarian citizens and the amount is increased by 50% of the deposit.

4.4.1 The deposit is reimbursed upon the return of the car, if no shortages/damages have been established on the same.

6.1 The fuel used in paid by the client;
6.2 The cars are delivered to the client with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank, as well;
6.3 In case the car is returned without a full tank of fuel, the difference is payable y the client according to the price of fuel for the day;

A one-off charge of €50 (fifty Euros) applies for traveling abroad, which includes Green Card, Auto Assistance and the issue of a Power of Attorney. The deposit, in case of traveling abroad, is subject to negotiation.

8.1 Vignette sticker - paid road tax for Bulgaria.
8.2 Standard equipment according to the requirements of the Traffic Police - spare tire, jack and wrench for the wheels, emergency triangle, fire-extinguisher, first-aid kit.
8.3 Seasonal tires - summer or winter.

9.1 In case of any technical problem, the client must call the Easy-BG Rent-a-car team at the emergency telephone number, quoted on the car rent contract.
9.2 Replacement car - in case of occurrence of a technical fault (due to a fault of the rent-a-car company), we will provide you with a replacement car FREE-OF-CHARGE within 12 hours (within Sofia) or within 24 hours (within the territory of Bulgaria). In case of a road accident or a fault, which is not within our scope of control, we can deliver a replacement car to you after you pay for the incurred expenses for delivery and rent.
9.3 In case of a road accident due to a fault of the client, the same shall be liable to pay a penalty to the amount of €250 (two hundred and fifty Euros) as application fee to the insurance company.

In case of a road accident, call the company telephone numbers, quoted in the car rent contract. Then call the emergency number for Bulgaria (112) and request assistance.

The rent of an automobile includes Civil liability, Autocasco (car insurance) and Auto assistance insurances within the territory of Bulgaria.

The tenant, additional authorized drivers and other passengers of the cars are not covered by "Personal Accident Insurance". The lessor shall not be liable for such loss, damage, etc.

REMARKS:

1. For driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
2. In case of lack of a protocol from the Traffic Police concerning the occurrence of the accident.
3. In case of occurrence of an accident, while the car was driven by a person, who is not quoted in the car rent contract.
4. Damage to the undercarriage of the car, including tires and wheels, is payable at the expense of the client.
5. The insurance against theft of the car does not provide cover in the following cases:

In case of lack of protocol from the Police concerning the event.
In case the documents and keys for the rented car are not returned by the client to the rent-a-car company.

Children's seats are provided for free.
Navigation systems are provided for free, for rent periods longer than 2 days.
Snow chains are provided free-of-charge.
In case of renting the car with a driver, the applicable charge amounts to €50 per day.
